The Cookie Ministry for boarding students has been a meaningful way for us to show support and encouragement while they are away from their families. Through this ministry, students are reminded that they are not alone and that their church family is praying for them. For many years, a dedicated group has faithfully led this ministry, and now it is time to pass the torch to new hands. We especially want to thank Kathy Dufur, whose passion and leadership brought this ministry to life and ensured its success. If you feel called to serve, please contact the church office to get involved.

Adventist Youth Retreat (AYR) is a weekend designed by young people for young people — ages 12-20 — to ignite the joy of sharing Christ with the world. It is a time where wholesome fellowship is cultivated through worship, uplifting music, powerful presentations by the youth, Christ-centered activities, and outreach. We aspire to build a community of Adventist youth who are inspired, equipped, and empowered to live boldly for Christ. AYR is from October 15 to 18 at Kirkland SDA Church, 6400 108th Ave NE, Kirkland, WA 98033. For more information, visit adventistyouthretreat.org.

Outreach Meal Preparation
We need volunteers to help prepare meals and deliver to the Safe Parking Shelter in Kirkland. Mondays at 5:00 pm in the church kitchen. If you are interested in participating, please contact Luciane Sarli at admin@ksda.org or 425-822-7922.
Announcement Info: If you ever have an announcement to add to the bulletin, bulletin board, or to present from the pulpit, please get approval from the office by noon on Thursday or speak directly to a pastor. Thank you!
Shut-Ins: In an effort to provide better care for our members, we are asking your help in locating members of the Kirkland church who are not able to come to Sabbath services. We do not always know when someone is ill or disabled. Our pastors and elders would love to visit with these valuable members.
Information Changes: If your address and/or phone ever change, please make that indication on your tithe envelope or on a pew card so the information gets to the Treasurer; they will not know it by your check alone. Thank you.

Prayer continues to be an important part of who we are as a Washington Conference family. This fall, we invite you to set aside time for a special Virtual Week of Prayer, August 29–September 4 at 7:00 p.m. each evening via Zoom.
Designed as a week of spiritual refreshment, these evening gatherings will give us an opportunity to pause, seek God together and be encouraged through prayer and the Word.
Throughout the week, we will hear inspiring messages from guest speakers including John Bradshaw, David Asscherick, Elizabeth Talbot, Lee Venden and several others, while joining together in prayer as churches, families and individuals across western Washington.
Save the dates and plan to join us August 29–September 4 at 7:00 p.m. More details and the Zoom link will be shared soon.
