Outreach Meal Preparation

We need volunteers to help prepare meals, and deliver, to the Safe Parking Shelter in Kirkland. Mondays at 5:00 pm in the church kitchen. If you are interested in participating, please contact Luciane Sarli at admin@ksda.org or 425-822-7922.

WA Women’s Retreat
WA Conference Women’s Retreat is at Sunset Lake Camp September 20-22 with a focus on prayer. Guest speaker is Randy Maxwell. Please contact Anita Dorland if you are interested in reserving a space with the Kirkland ladies. Space is limited. Weekend $75/pp, Sabbath only $55/pp.

We are deeply saddened to announce the loss of Donna Van Fossen, who passed away on Monday, August 12th, from illness complications. Please keep her family and friends in your prayers during this grieving time.

Shut-Ins: In an effort to provide better care for our members, we are asking your help in locating members of the Kirkland church who are not able to come to Sabbath services. We do not always know when someone is ill or disabled. Our pastors and elders would love to visit with these valuable members.

Information Changes: If your address and/or phone ever change, please make that indication on your tithe envelope or on a pew card so the information gets to the Treasurer; they will not know it by your check alone. Thank you.

WA Conference News
|
|
The North Hill annual Outdoor Worship & Praise Program will be held on Sabbath, August 17. A worship service will start at 3:30 pm featuring music by Kathy Jo Kahn and the North Hill praise band, followed by a potluck picnic at 4:30 pm, and a praise concert at 5:30 pm. The concert will feature original music from singer/songwriter/guitarist Elton Carr and Gospel music from Terry Enyeart & the Steelhead Bluegrass Band. Please bring lawn chairs and/or blankets to sit on.
