Church Events

Pastor's Appreciation Month

Hello church family, this month we are celebrating "Pastor's Appreciation Month. We Want to invite you to demonstrate your appreciation to our pastor Harold and Aurora by writing words of appreciation and giving gifts to them. To help you not forget it, we'll have cards and papers at the church credenza each Sabbath during this month, and a box for each pastor where you can place your notes, cards, and gifts.

Sabbath School Quarterlies

The new Sabbath school quarterlies are available at the church credenza. Please take one per family.

Church Potluck
Our next potluck will be on October 21.
We have noticed that not every family that stays for potluck is bringing food to share. For this church event to continue happening with success, we ask each church family to collaborate by bringing a dish to be shared. It doesn't need to be anything special, however, it needs to be a good serving portion. If you are a single person, you can collaborate by bringing a bag of salad or a loaf of bread. This way we'll have enough food for our church members and visitors. Thank you for your understanding.

Children's Choir- Christmas Program

Hello parents! We are inviting all children to participate in our "Children's Choir", in preparation for our Christmas program. There is a sign up sheet at the church credenza. The practice will be on Sabbath, from 10:30 - 11:00, in the fellowship hall. For more details please contact Rosie Alomia, Colleen Radke, and Grace Roberts.
Cookie Greeting to Boarding Students

Attention, all parents of students who are going to be away from home while in school (high school or college). We need your student's name, address, and date of birth, to send them greeting as well as some delicious cookies for this school year. Please contact the church office, or Kathy Dufur via email at kdcatnigel@gmail.com with your children's information.

Food, games, family, friends, fan , action.
All proceeds go towards raising money for class activities, classroom supplies/equipment, and organization on campus. Book tickets sold at the tickets tables. Cash and check are accepted.

Announcement Info: If you ever have an announcement to add to the bulletin, bulletin board, or to make from the pulpit, please get approval from the office by noon on Thursday or speak directly to a pastor. Thank you!

Shut-Ins: In an effort to provide better care for our members, we are asking your help in locating members of the Kirkland church who are not able to come to Sabbath services. We do not always know when someone is ill or disabled. Our pastors and elders would love to visit with these valuable members.

Information Changes: If your address and/or phone ever change, please make that indication on your tithe envelope or a pew card so the information gets to the Treasurer, they will not know by your check alone. Thank you.
