Message for you
This Day, Father, may my mind be set on things above, not on things of this earth. May I be a person of blessing this day. Help me to encourage those who are tired and wearied by the cares of this world. Give me opportunity to love in deed and action. May I be willing to be inconvenienced for the sake of the Gospel and minister to others as if I were ministering to You. Father, it is my desire that the imprint of Jesus be left behind wherever I go, whatever I encounter, and whoever I meet. Accomplish this through me for you, Jesus.

Volunteers Needed!
Summer is just around the corner, bringing in the most beautiful season here in the Northwest! With many of our church family traveling over the next few months, we’re reaching out to invite you to help keep our church community vibrant and our services running smoothly. We’re especially looking for volunteers to help with music, children’s stories, and Sabbath school. If you have a passion or talent in any of these areas, or if you’d simply like to lend a hand, please connect with one of our pastors or contact the church office. Your involvement will make a real difference!

Outreach Meal Preparation
We need volunteers to help prepare meals, and deliver, to the Safe Parking Shelter in Kirkland. Mondays at 5:00 pm in the church kitchen. If you are interested in participating, please contact Luciane Sarli at admin@ksda.org or 425-822-7922.
Announcement Info: If you ever have an announcement to add to the bulletin, bulletin board, or to present from the pulpit, please get approval from the office by noon on Thursday or speak directly to a pastor. Thank you!
Shut-Ins: In an effort to provide better care for our members, we are asking your help in locating members of the Kirkland church who are not able to come to Sabbath services. We do not always know when someone is ill or disabled. Our pastors and elders would love to visit with these valuable members.
Information Changes: If your address and/or phone ever change, please make that indication on your tithe envelope or on a pew card so the information gets to the Treasurer; they will not know it by your check alone. Thank you.

Washington Conference Young Adult Ministries is launching BaseCamp, a new small business program designed to equip aspiring and current entrepreneurs with practical tools, mentorship and community.
The journey begins with a Networking Brunch on Sunday, May 31, at 10 a.m. at the Washington Conference auditorium. This in-person event will offer connection, inspiration and helpful resources for anyone who owns a business or dreams of starting one. Business casual attire is encouraged.
Following the brunch, applications will open for the full five-month BaseCamp Business Cohort, which begins in July. Only 12 small businesses will be selected for the cohort, and attending the networking brunch earns points toward the application process. Cohort topics will include taxes, social media management, AI for small businesses and marketing. The cohort sessions will be held in English via Zoom.
Church members are encouraged to invite entrepreneurs, small business owners and anyone exploring a business idea to attend.
